Our Vision
To teach stress management skills to servicemen and women so they maintain mental health in spite of the stressors and hardships of combat life and family separation.
The number of combat troops returning home from war in Iraq and Afghanistan is staggering
and frightening. Our long term goal is to reach combat troops and provide them with
tools and techniques to help them learn to relax without drugs.
Our “At Ease, Warrior”
program is a hands on training that takes just a few hours. Along with the program,
each participant is given reinforcement CDs to help them retain the information.
Recorded on the CDs are audio programs designed to invoke the relaxation response...the
perfect antidote to stress.
We are a 501(c)3 charity that was created because of the spike in PTSD and suicides by returning combat veterans. Research shows that stress management through mindfulness, meditation and self hypnosis has a positive impact on blood pressure, cognitive abilities, reduction of insomnia, improved self image and hardiness toward stress.
Our charity was founded by Dr. Kenneth Grossman, PhD whose brother, a Viet Nam veteran,
committed suicide after suffering for years with PTSD. Help us to help others with
a donation. The need is great.
They are giving so much. Now it’s our turn. Please donate generously.
